Coaching sessions
We offer adult group coaching sessions which are a great way for those who have never played before to learn and pick up some tips before they start attending open sessions. Plus social players can gain confidence & self belief, to refine their skills and to eliminate bad habits.
Group coaching enhances racket skills, footwork, teamwork, problem solving and broadens tactical knowledge. Players looking to raise their game and play at a higher level require an all-round skillset, being able to execute shots with precision and effortlessness, and through guidance, feedback and reflection these factors that will give players the advantage at that competitive level.
Small group lesson (with 2-4 players) and private tuition available.
Group coaching timetable
Across the group sessions, players will progressively build a complete pickleball skill set, starting with learning how to control the kitchen through consistent short dinks, proper footwork & smart placement to win patient rallies while mastering this essential shot. From there, the focus shifts to developing an effective drop shot – understanding when to use it, how to execute it & how to transition safely to the net – before improving reaction time, hand speed, and positioning for confident, aggressive net play without giving away easy points. Players will also build a reliable serve and deep return, emphasising placement, consistency, and setting up the next shot, while learning how to handle hard hitters by blocking volleys and resetting under pressure to regain control of rallies. Finally, all skills are brought together through smarter shot selection, improved court positioning, effective partner communication & guided matchplay to apply everything in realistic game situations.

Courses are organised in 4 week rolling blocks. Lessons include: Dinking, Third Shot Drop, Serve & Return, Volleys & Netplay, Defence & Resets, Shot Selection & Strategy, Dealing With Slice.


Saturdays 10:00am – 11:00am – Canford Sports Centre
Courses are organised in 4 week rolling blocks. Lessons include: Dinking, Third Shot Drop, Serve & Return, Volleys, Block Volleys & Netplay, Defence & Resets, Shot Selection & Strategy, Dealing With Spin.


Thursdays 7:00pm – 9:00pm – Corfe Hills school
